Who we are
Shubhaarti Digital Library provides academic-content discovery, institutional access and reading services. This policy applies to library.shubhaarti.in, access requests, contact and demo enquiries, and related customer communications.

Information we collect
When you request access, a demo or support, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, institution, role, enquiry details and account information.
We also process information needed to provide library access, manage institutional subscriptions, secure the service and support readers, including:
- Account information used for authentication and access
- Institutional affiliation and access entitlements
- Technical information processed by service providers to deliver and secure the website
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries, demo requests and access requests.
- To create and administer accounts, institutional access and reader support.
- To maintain service security, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
- To send relevant service or marketing communications only where you have agreed or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Cookies and optional analytics
We use the sdl_session cookie for authentication, and localStorage for sdl-cookie-consent and sdl-theme. If Google Analytics is configured, visit and engagement analytics are enabled only after you allow analytics. You can revisit your choice using Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection on this site but does not itself erase data already collected. See our Cookie Policy.
Sharing and retention
We share personal information only with providers and partners that help us operate the platform, supply content or fulfil institutional services, and with authorities where legally required. We keep information only as long as needed for the relevant purpose and any applicable legal, accounting or security requirement.
International data transfers
Service providers, including hosting and optional analytics providers, may process information outside India. Contact us for information about the providers and processing relevant to your request.
Your choices and rights
- Request access, correction, update or deletion of your personal information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Ask about other rights available under the law applicable to your circumstances.

For personal data covered by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Shubhaarti Digital Library acts as a data fiduciary for the purposes described here. We aim to provide clear notice, obtain and respect consent where required, use data only for stated purposes, apply reasonable safeguards, and provide a way to raise a grievance or make a rights request.
